SRK miffed with his team's continous defeat

Shahrukh Khan, the owner of Kolkata Knight Riders is miffed with his team's continous loss. His team is performing so badly in the IPL season 2 in South Africa that he has decided to fly back to India and come back only after they start winning. The KKR lost in 4 of the 5 matches that they have played till now.

Well, Shahrukh Khan will be flying back to India with his wife Gauri, son Aryan and daughter Suhana. Apart from his team poor performance, another reason of his coming back to India is the upcoming Lok Sabha poll in which Shahrukh Khan and his wife will cast their votes. It has been known that King Khan had made it clear to his team that he will come back to SA to cheer for them only after they start winning and if they lose, he won't be coming back but shout at them from home.

Now the million-dollar question is whether Shahrukh will come back to South Africa to boost up the morale of his defeating team or stay back.

Akshay donated money to ail actor

A generous side of stunt hero akshay Kumar has been seen recently. He donated a cheque of Rs six lakhs to ail actor Vallabh Vyas who was part of Lagaan and Chandni Bar. Akki does know the actor personally but when he heard about Vallabh's illness, he decided to help him out.

Akshay came to know about Vallabh's sickness when one of Vallabh's friends was shooting with Akki. On knowing that no one from the film industry is coming forward to help him out, Akshay turned saddened and decided to help Vallabh with funds.

A source reveals, "Vallabh suffered from brain hemorrhage some time back and he needed money for surgery. Actor Manoj Joshi, who is friends with Vallabh and has been helping collect money for the surgery".
While shooting with him recently, Joshi mentioned his efforts to raise funds for Vallabh's surgery, and the actor enquired what was the total amount needed.
When he learned it was six lakhs, Akki immediately signed a cheque for the entire amount and gave it to him.

Last tribute paid to Feroz Khan

Late actor Feroz Khan who lived life King Size was given the last tribute by his family members, friends and fans. As his deceased body was moved out of the mortuary van, a huge crowd gathered to get the last glimpse of their matinee idol.

Late actor-director-producer Feroz Khan was given a grand farewell by his dear ones. His last ritual took place at Hosur road, Shia Kabrastan on Monday. While bidding last adieu to their father, Feroz Khan's children Fardeen Khan and Laila Khan broke down several times.

Feroz Khan's last journey was witnessed by many Bollywood fraternities like his leading lady Mumtaz, Sajid Khan and his wife Farah, Farah Khan. Hrithik Roshan and Suzanne Khan also arrived to pay the last tribute to the actor, who was known for his unique style of acting and directing.

Feroz Khan was fighting against the deadly disease cancer for 12 months long and at last breathed the last on Sunday. Born and brought up in Bangalore, Feroz Khan will always be remembered for his films like 'Qurbani', 'JaanBaaz', 'Dharmatma', 'Dayavan'.

Ash with Vivek again

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is going to star with her ex lover Vivek Oberoi again. The film in question is titled, 'Tansen' to be directed by Satish Kaushik and to be produced by Rajshri Productions. It will also have Abhishek Bachchan and Anil Kapoor in the pivotal role.
'Tansen' is said to be one of the costliest film to be ever made in India. The film is based on the real life incident of Mughal court singer. The main role of 'Tansen' will be played by Abhishek Bachchan. The film will be shot in Bangkok first and then in Australia and New Zealand.

As the cast and the crew have been decided, the shooting of the film will be commenced from next month.

Adhyayan Suman in love with Kangana Ranaut

Only one film old and Adhyayan Suman started hitting the headlines for his love life. He fell deeply in love with Gangster actress Kangana Ranaut. Shekhar Suman’s son feels no hesitation in declaring his love to the world. He said, "Yes, I am seeing Kangana. I am in a serious relationship with her. It's not that we got close in South Africa; we were dating since quite some time but I didn’t want to talk about it so quickly. It’s time that I put an end to all speculations."

They fell for each other while shooting for Mohit Suri’s Raaz – The Mystery Continues. How Adhyayan fell in love with Kangana

Adhyayan Suman has just stepped into Bollywood and he fell in love with the co-star of his second flick Kangana Ranaut. Kangana and Adhyayan have developed feelings for one another while shooting for the Bhatts, Raaz-The Mystery Continues. Adhyayan is so obsessed with lady that he vowed not to look deeply into the eyes of any other actress while shooting a romantic sequence.

"I fell in love with Kangana while shooting the song O Jaana. I had looked very deeply into her eyes." And what was it that he saw in her eyes? "The way she had put her kaajal," he laughs. "In fact, I have decided never to look so deeply into the eyes of another actress."

He adds, "I always knew that even Kangana liked me." So who proposed? "Kangana did [Laughs]. Actually, it was very mutual and obvious," he smiles.

The 20-year-old actor is full of praises for Kangana,"“She is a wonderful co-star. I have got to learn a lot from her. I don’t want to be known as Kangana Ranut’s boyfriend."

Fashion cast at Lakme Fashion Week

Priyanka Chopra seems to be everywhere these days as for the last few months she has been continuously promoting her films. And though she promoted her last two films immensely, they did not work at the bo-office, but she has not lost hope. Priyanka is back again with a bang and she was seen walking the ramp in a funky mini purple bubble dress, also promoting her forthcoming film Fashion. Priyanka has all her hopes pinned on this film and she surely can't afford another flop.



The entire female cast of Fashion, Priyanka, Kangana and Mughda Godse walked the ramp for designer Narendra Kumar at the Lakme Fashion Week 2008. The girls also promoted their forthcoming film, Fashion on the ramp. The film deals with the pros and cons of the fashion world, and many real life instances have been incorporated into the film. Director Madhur Bhandarkar hopes that this authenticity will enhance the film.


Kangana Ranaut may have been in the limelight for her personal life recently, but now with the film Fashion, she hopes to focus on her career. Kangana looked hot in a sexy bright orange dress which had a super plunging neck line. Apparently in the film, Kangana has enacted a scene where her top comes off while walking on the ramp. Kangana was also miffed with director Madhur for promoting Priyanka more in the promos. We'll have to wait and see if this film turns out to be Priyanka's or Kanganas'.

Shilpa, Raj’s mother discuss marriage

Though heavy downpour spoiled Shilpa’s Rajasthan Royals game with Mumbai Indians, she is not at all heartbroken but quite optimistic about her team. If on one side nothing fruitful is happening with her team while on the other side a new development is taking place. Shilpa and Raj’s mom met nearby Cape Town and discussed the duo’ relationship and wedding in details.

Shilpa divulged and added, "Yes, Raj’s mom and my mom stayed back in Cape Town while we came to Durban . So what if the rains washed away our cricket matches There’s the other match that happens soon. Such things happen and we just have to move on to our next game”.

While speaking about the progression of her relationship, Shilpa sounds quite happy and quips that her mom and would be mom-in-law are having a gala time together and they have discussed some important matter about their future while her father mainly concern about the IPL than her.

Speculation is now ripe that Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia are having a real trouble in their paradise. An E-mail sent by Preity to her team clears the cloud that the couple is no longer into any kind of personal relationship and is linked up only professionally. Preity being very straight forward and outspoken clears the air to her team members as they were in utter confused state as what kind of relationship she is presently sharing with Ness. She does not want her boys to get distracted by any issue and wanted them to concentrate on the game only.

Shoe thrown at Jeetendra

After former US President George W. Bush, many politicians became victimized of public slipper. The latest to become wronged with shoe shower is the well-behaved and gentle actor Jeetendra. While addressing a public rally, organized by the Congress candidate Manikrao Gavit in the town of Nandurbar an unidentified person from the crowd threw slipper at him. The incident took place on Tuesday.

As the gathering was around 3,000, the culprit who actually threw slipper at him was somewhat difficult to be tagged but however party activists immediately took hold of the offender. He has been identified as Dilip Ingle and what made him to show his aggravation in this way is not yet known.

As Jeetendra was not expecting such type of ill treatment to be meted out to him, he was obviously very unhappy.

Telugu director Raj K.S. Gopi says that Bollywood actress Preeti Jhangiani's sensuous item number in his directorial debut "Tejuam" will boost her career in southem films.
"I'm doing a film with eight necomers. Preeti is well-known in Telugu but so far she has done mostly offbeat, mellow roles. Now that she is doing an item number, her career will get a boost," Gopi told media. Preeti's pictures in a skimpy outfit has created a stir in Hyderabad ahead of the movie's release, sources close to her said that the "Mohabbattein" girl was looking forward to the image makeover.

Salman comes back to Asin

Unable to stay away from the cast and the crew of ‘London Dreams’, Salman Khan returns to his co-stars Asin and Ajay Devgan. During their stay in London, Salman insisted to stay at his favorite hotel in Central London, despite the fact that the film cast and the crew will be put up into another hotel in the city.

After few days of his stay in the hotel, he started feeling lonely and on hearing that Ajay and Asin are having a ball in the hotel, he started feeling left out and immediately packed up his baggage and returned to his pals. After staying few weeks in his fav hotel, he requested director Vipul Shah to make arrangement of his stay in the same hotel so that he can also join his friends in the fun.

SRK’s smoking act in IPL annoys anti-smoking lobby

Shahrukh Khan who is a chain smoker cannot keep away with his habit at the IPL also. His smoking act did not go well with the anti-smoking lobby that has now banned showing the smoking footage of any celebrities in television.

The National Organization for Tobacco Eradication (NOTE) said in a statement that its counterpart South African National Council Against Smoking (NCAS) ensures that smoking footage of no celebrities will be broadcast.

"We have sent the details to Supersport, who are the official broadcasters of the IPL and the NCAS is in the process of soliciting an agreement that they will not show anyone smoking," NCAS's convener Peter Ucko informed NOTE Friday.

It has been decided that if King Khan is again caught smoking then he will be knocked out of the stadium. The NCAS has decided to make no smoking announcement through the match and during drinks breaks.
